Tech Tribulation: Vision Pro Early Adopters Now See the Light — and It’s Just Regret in 4K

(Worthy Satire) – A year ago, a select group of tech disciples stood in line for hours—some even fasting from avocado toast—to receive what they believed was the long-awaited Apple Vision Pro, a $3,500 headset heralded as the gateway to a glorious future.

They now wander the digital wilderness, headset in hand, seeking refund and revelation.

“It promised a new reality,” lamented Caleb Dronestein, a former crypto influencer turned Vision Pro life coach. “Instead, it gave me migraines, motion sickness, and a divorce. My wife said I blinked more at Siri than at her.”

The Vision Pro’s decline has been prophesied in obscure corners of Reddit. “And many shall be deceived by false visions,” read one apocryphal thread misattributed to the Book of Jobs—no, not Job, Jobs.

Some early adopters have since formed a support group called “Eyes to See, But Nothing to Show,” where they gather in Meta’s Horizon Worlds to share their sorrow when the Wi-Fi allows.

Apple, in response, has unveiled its new program, Beatitudes for Beta-Testers, offering store credit and an Anointing Oil screen cleaner.

But for many, the damage is done.

“Blessed are the poor in tech spirit,” Dronestein said, taking off his headset one final time. “For theirs is the kingdom of actual reality.”
