PARIS, FRANCE (Worthy Satire) – Visitors at the trendy new art installation “Suffocation: A Modern Statement” were left gasping for breath — and not just from the sheer artistic brilliance. The exhibit, which features participants vacuum-sealed between plastic sheets to represent the crushing weight of societal expectations, took a shocking turn when several art enthusiasts found themselves actually trapped inside.
“I thought it was a metaphor,” said Jenna, who had been stuck for over an hour. “But now, I’m starting to think it’s performance art. Or maybe just a lawsuit waiting to happen.”
The artist, who goes by the moniker ‘SaranWraptor,’ defended the exhibit, insisting that “Art imitates life, and life… well, sometimes it gets a little airtight.”
Meanwhile, paramedics on the scene assured reporters that the only thing more inflated than the installation were the artist’s ego and the ticket prices.
